TRANSFORMATION FOR A NEW CREATION

This retreat will explore the mysticism of two of the 20th century’s profound spiritual mentors: the French Jesuit scientist Teilhard de Chardin and the American philosopher and contemplative practitioner Beatrice Brute. Her theology rests on Teilhard’s vision. Whereas Teilhard saw the grand cosmic scheme of Christ in evolution, Beatrice developed an understanding of the human person in evolution. She invites us to participate in the divine ecstasy that leads to personal transformation and a new creation.
