Maintenance, Repairs, and Improvements need to be made...
Dear Friends and Oblates,
Thank you for your prayers and support over the years, especially during the height of the pandemic. During those two years, our youth center was closed as schools and parishes closed. Thankfully, schools and parishes are open now.
After two years of being closed, our youth center will reopen this fall. Being closed for two years has taken a toll. There are some maintenance, repairs and improvements that need to be made. I come to you today to ask your help. Besides the maintenance and repairs, I have listed some items below we believe would help enrich the retreat experience for young people and make the experience a more pleasant and memorable one.

Temperatures in the desert are extreme. One of the major concerns for group leaders is that there is not much for the youth to do during their free time. Indeed, there is plenty of desert to explore, but generally speaking, walking is not as appealing or stimulating to young people, as it might be to adults, particularly on days of extreme temperatures.
To address this concern, we plan to convert one of our rooms into a recreation room with indoor games for the youth. Some items we would like to have in this room:
