DESERT WISDOM ON THE SPIRITUAL JOURNEY—ALSO AVAILABLE VIA ZOOM

The practical and contemplative wisdom of the Fathers and Mothers of the Desert is part of the spiritual heritage of all Christians.  In this workshop we will focus on their understanding of spiritual progress, particularly the practices and forms of prayer they considered to be the foundation of Christian contemplation.  Workshop participants are encouraged to read Sayings of the Desert Fathers, translated by Bendicta Ward and published either by Cistercian Press or Penguin Books.
