Types of Gifts
Youth Center Support
After two years of being closed, our youth center will reopen this fall. Being closed for two years has taken a toll. There are some maintenance, repairs, and improvements that need to be made. I come to you today to ask for your help. Besides the maintenance and repairs, I have listed some items we believe would help enrich the retreat experience for young people and make the experience a more pleasant and memorable one.
Monastery General Fund Gift
Gifts to the general fund of the monastery support the monks in their daily lives of prayer and ministry as well in their ongoing education, personal development, and pastoral outreach. The general fund also provides for the grounds and buildings including the retreat center, youth center and chapel, ceramics studio, and books and gifts store. Additionally, the general fund advances the Abbey’s technology resources and operations.
This fund supports our mission to care for the poor and destitute who find their way to the Abbey looking for assistance, hope, and the presence of God. Even the smallest gift will make a difference in our daily service of ministering to Christ in the poor and healing these souls.
These gifts are made in honor or in memory of a loved one.
