PRIESTS’ RETREAT: Reflections on Pope Leo’s Apostolic Exhortation on Love for the Poor

As we walk together during these days of retreat, we will reflect on the different faces of poverty: the poor ones who surround our daily lives, nd the poor man within us.  Hopefully, we will come to know and believe more deeply than ever that we can never really know Christ in an intimate way unless we truly encounter the “Poor Christ”.

Presenter: FR. JOSEPH BRENNAN has been a monk of Valyermo since 1994 after having served as a parish priest in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles for over 20 years. He is a spiritual director at the Cardinal Manning House of Prayer for priests in Los Angeles as well as St. Andrew’s Sub-Prior.
